A supposed leak of the main menu of Madden 21 appears to show a 6 versus 6 mode, similar to NBA 2K’s “MyPark” mode. The mode titled “The Yard” is described on the menu as “a new take on Madden with Backyard rules! Play 6v6 with your friends to earn unique rewards for your Superstar.”
The alleged leak was posted to Twitter by popular Madden YouTuber, SamuelBrownRBT. The leaked image comes a week after fans were given access to the games’ closed beta.

Madden’s “Face of the Franchise” mode seems to be a focus of this years’ installment. In Madden 21, users will be able to choose between being a quarterback, wide receiver or runningback when they play the mode.
If the leaked image is accurate, users will be able to use their created superstar and play with multiple friends, a feature that has only been available in their MUT Squads and Superstar KO modes up until now.
The mode will likely be similar to modes in EA’s massively successful soccer game, FIFA. FIFA features a mode titled “Pro Clubs,” where each player controls their specific superstar, and allows them to create an entire team made up of their friends. Last year, FIFA 20 added their own “backyard-syled” mode titled “Volta” which allows players to play Futsal, an indoor style of soccer featuring teams of five.
The leak has yet to be confirmed by EA but already has plenty of fans excited about the potential of playing with a full team of their friends.
