The Chicago Bears will be getting a boost in speed, as they acquired wide receiver Jakeem Grant from the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins traded Grant, a second-team All Pro in 2020, to the Bears in exchange for a 2023 sixth-round draft pick.

Since being drafted in 2016, Grant recorded five touchdowns on punt and kick returns. As a kick-returner, Grant’s 4.38 40-yard dash speed sliced through opposing special teams units.

As a receiver, Grant did not have much success. This season, he has two catches for -7 yards and a fumble.

Grant will join a team with an already a ridiculous amount of speed, including: Allen Robinson II, Marquise Goodwin, Breshad Perriman, Darnell Mooney, and Tarik Cohen.
