The Los Angeles Chargers unveiled their new uniforms yesterday, and all I can say is sheesh.

Out of all the uniform changes we have seen this season (the Bucs, Falcons, Browns, Patriots, Colts), the Chargers take the cake.

First thing one will notice is the return to the yellow pants that the team will wear with the baby blue and white jerseys. The team also added the vertical lightning bolt on the shoulder, whereas the previous jerseys had the bolt coming across sideways. One of the most important details though, is the return of the player numbers to the helmet.

Yup, the Chargers will go back to having numbers on their helmets, as they did in 1973.

It’s also important to note that the Chargers will also be using their color rush uniforms with a darker outline surrounding the bolt on the helmet. They will also use a new, dark uniform that features the bolt on the helmet with inverted colors (dark blue interior, with a yellow border.)

While I didn’t think the Chargers had bad uniforms in 2019 by any means, I must admit that the move to switch to these is sick. Let me know what y’all think.
